So simple and to the point!

We have just uploaded a video on to our YouTube page. This simple advert uses the print concept of the ads for the Kuwait Young Film Contest and transforms it into a simple video presentation.

I just love the background music in relation to the film itself; it is a must see.

Tarek  edited it and it only took him 20 minutes to do it. This is a very short and simple video.

This is a start for any young film makers looking to edit something, everyone begins small then grows.

I would recommend that you bring footage from many different films and blend them together; create or choose a certain tune and you will result in having your own edited film.

So go ahead invest your some time and create something simple and to the point….

Films that cost $35,000 generates millions in revenue

As many of you know, the Kuwait Young Film Contest has started in December 2010 and the dead line for submitting your film is the 10th of March 2011.

It is just incredible how easy it is for anyone with a camera to create something  and put it on a screen for everyone to see and be entertained. There are so many talents out there.

I personally believe that this contest gives all young film makers a chance to make it BIG in the cinema industry.

It is the story or the concept that really matters if you are looking to make a low budget movie. That is what i believe.

Lets take the Blair Witch Project, it was released in 1999 and it only cost 35,000 USD to create. The scenes are very simple, nothing too fancy using a regular DV camera.

After taking the shots they needed they basically began their editing and sound. None of the equipment were high tech, basically a very simple and cheap film to make.

The story itself is a very creepy story; it had the viewers believing that it was real, and many people still have their doubts.

What i am trying to say is that if you have a good story you should grab any camera and attempt to make a film , it will become recognized and this could actually be the start to your career in film making.
